Who I support

Who I support

Most of the people I work with are children and their families. I also support adults with communication goals.

Children

From early communication through the school years. Parents and carers are closely involved, and with your consent I can work with your child’s kindy, school or other therapists.

  • Late talkers and early language development
  • Speech sound difficulties and clarity
  • Understanding and using language
  • Language for reading, spelling and learning
  • Stuttering
  • Social communication, play and conversation
  • Children who use, or may benefit from, AAC

Adults

Support for adults who want to communicate with more ease and confidence, with sessions that fit around work, study and family life.

  • Speech and language goals in everyday life, work or study
  • Stuttering
  • Social communication
  • Using AAC, with support for family and carers

Is this the right service?

If you’re unsure whether speech pathology can help, get in touch with a short description of what you’re noticing. If I’m not the right fit — for example, for feeding or swallowing concerns, which I don’t provide — I’ll suggest where else you could look.

You don’t need a referral to see a speech pathologist privately. Medicare rebates need an eligible GP referral, and NDIS participants need funding in their plan that can be used for speech pathology. See fees and funding.
